What is it about health care. Why are the Democrats so interested in forcing us onto the Canadian or European plans that do not work. We know the care is rationed in Canada. We know there are committees in England that make decisions as to who gets what care. Is this what we want. Why is Obama trying so hard to have government control everything? I believe it is because he and other liberal Democrats that only they and the national government. As Obama stated himself, he is seeking to redistribute wealth, not create it. I am not sure if they are all that interested in growing the economy. I think they are more interested in expanding Government control over the means of production and finance. So far they have been successful. They know, it seems that they only have a limited time to make all this happen before there is an election. This may be the reason they are forcing bills through with no time for anyone to read them.
Now is the time to stop this madness. Some Democrats are beginning to have second thoughts and they are listening to the voters who very much want things to change - like tax reductions, cutting the government budget rather then expanding spending. It is ludicrus to believe that by spending larges sums of money, the economy will recover. This way comes inflation, economic slow down. The liberals point to the New Deal as the means to pull us out of the depression (yes, I believe we are in a depression). Roosevelt didn't take us out of the depression, he exported it to Europe and The Far East by war. The war actually put people to work in business, not government programs. We should do the following:
1: Kill the spending now. Only about 10-20% of the stimulas bill has been spent.
2: Cut taxes now. This will put money in people's pockets.
3: Begin national debate on National VAT or flat tax. But eliminate Tax code as we know it.
4: Eliminate Corporate Taxes. Removal of taxes on corporations will result in lower prices and make our goods more affordable internationally. It will also provide an incentive to companies to start manufacturing hard goods here again.

Forget Green, lets work on rust again.
