Apparently the liberals in congress are so intent on destroying the Republican party that they finally overstepped their bounds. The Speaker in her intent to remove herself from the enhanced interrogation techniques has now accused the CIA of lying. That in itself is a very stupid move. But now she it trying to cut such a fine line that she is now trying to differentiate between being informed of water-boarding that already had happened and water-boarding that will happen. What is so disingenuous about her whole arguement is that in either case, she didn't protest the treatment. We know she is not shy about protesting to the White House about activities she doens't like so saying she is powerless is not a valid arguement. The Speaker is showing partisonship so strongly that she is exhibiting poor judgement. It is one thing to dislike or like the President's politics or party affiliation, it a another think entirely to cause the US and it's fighting solders harm by placing politics ahead of the US protection both at home and abroad. The Speaker should drop out of sight for a little while and let the "Truth Commission" effort die in the house. Otherwise she may find herself in front of a commission and under oath. Not only is her Speakership on the line, her position in the House as a representive may be in danger as well.

Republicans-The party of No.
Democrats have labeled the Republicans as the party of No, as opposed to the Democrats as the party of yes. Our current problems are due in part to the Democrats saying yes. The Democrats have a near obsession to spending money. The Republicans are correct in saying no to the obsessive spending. The democrats are saying that spending will pull the US out of the Recession. However, as the Republicans state, you cannot spend yourself out of a recession. With the levels of spending, the Democrats will be ultimately faced with inflation, and runaway entitlement spending not any good way to control spending - except to say NO.
The Democrats have said that the Republicans are a party of No as a means to cast them in a bad light. Instead, the Republicans should take on the name and use it. I believe that if the Republicans start ads showing the No as a good thing. The Republicans can take the work "No" and launch an add campaign and really turn around the party. Ultimately the Republicans need to launch a groundswell of support for NO. They need to build on the success of the Tea Parties. And make no mistake, the Tea Parties were successful. Just consider how strongly the Democrats tried to dismiss the parties as not relevant and tried to dismiss them.
Republicans - the party of NO! You bet! No to government control over industry, no to government control over financial industry, No to excessive Government spending, No to increase of taxes, and finally, no to saddling our children with unsupportable inflation and Debt.

I just returned from a Boy Scout Camporee. This is a campout with troops from one or more districts. Observing these young men learning what it means to be Scouts, learning outdoor skills and most importantly, learning leadership skills makes me realize that our most important resource is our youth. I think we are in a battle for the minds of our youth. The liberals are trying to steal their minds by controlling the schools. That is the reason they dislike private schools because they cannot control them. Another area the liberals are attacking is private charitable organizations. The Liberal Democrats are trying to eliminate the charitable deduction and placing government controls on all charities on the basis that all Charities need to obey the government rules about discrimination on the basis of race, creed and religion. And most importantly, sex and orientation. This way, they can force Religious organization to accept gays and lesbians. This will violate the 1st Amendment but that does not seem to stop Democrats today.
I am not sure where this will stop but Republicans need to really begin to start fighting for each house and senate seat to regain the majority.
We must all speak up.
